So it's Professor Snape's birthday today.

I briefly considered buying him something, but decided that it would be too weird. Although some Potions ingredient wouldn't be remiss...but who in their right mind would accept an anonymous gift of Potions ingredient?

Bleh.

I wish spring would come soon. Warming charms are nowhere enough in this cold weather.

Hmm, a scarf. That's an idea. Hopefully the professor's not paranoid enough to refuse an anonymous scarf.

I saw this perfectly nice black cashmere scarf last time. Now where did I leave that catalogue again...

I'm so tired these days--I have no idea why.

I can still pay attention at classes and flirt with the younger girls, so there's that I suppose.

But usually by eight in the evening I just want to fall on my bed and never resurface. I have no idea how some people can find the time and energy to study, be social, and play Quidditch.

Maybe I should catch up on sleep during History of Magic. Everyone else (except Hermione) does, anyway. And it's not like Professor Binns would even notice.

Alright, so it was not exactly fun fun, but I completed every step perfectly. Even Professor Snape was impressed (I could tell because he only nodded thoughtfully when he checked the potion's progress).

Before he let us go, he announced that some students have been mastering Fourth Year Potions rapidly, and they may learn how to brew an Invigoration Draught.

Terry told me that the potion is usually taught to Fifth Years. I'm excited--I'm sure Hermione is taking that option too =)

Also: Muggle Studies this afternoon! Our textbook is so outdated that Professor Burbage had taken to bringing Muggle magazines to class. If it gets out that we spend half the class time perusing fashion, I'm sure more girls would take the class *g*
So far I've been unsuccessful in luring Padma to take the class. I should recruit the Third Year Ravenclaw girls. Hhmm...

Too bad Hermione dropped the class this year. My classmates are all nice enough, but I'm currently the only Ravenclaw taking the class.
